Hi I’m Bev Hardidge and live in Hoddles Creek in the beautiful Yarra Valley area of Victoria, Australia. I have been keen on art and crafts all my life. Having a creative mum, who was a prolific sewer ,knitter and potter, certainly influenced me. Being creative is just part of my being. I just need to be making something, no matter what it is. Over the years I have dabbled in many creative pursuits. I am a keen photographer and take lots of photos which could be used to base paintings from. In the last few years I have concentrated mostly on painting and experimenting with different mediums. I enjoy trying new things and love watching art shows on TV and reading art mags that show different techniques.I have been to several TAFE courses and have completed a couple of online courses. I love depicting nature and the world around me and I’m greatly influenced by what I see on our property and the area we live. While online I discovered a course from which I could learn to become an art teacher. Wow, this sounded great to me; however, it took a few months to decide to do the course. I have now completed the Moore Certified Instructor Course and am looking forward to teaching others my passion for painting and being creative.

Lee McGrath

Moore Certified Instructor

Hi my name is Lee McGrath and I live in the beautiful town of Sunbury in Victoria with my 2 daughters and partner. My joy of painting landscapes and seascapes was firmly cemented when I took a class with Rod Moore in 2013. I enjoyed his method of painting so much I took part in the Moore Art School Instructor Program and I am now a qualified Moore Instructor. The thrill of teaching beginner adults how to paint their very first landscape or seascape never gets old. I teach all classes with Acrylic paints; I feel this medium is great for beginners as it is very user friendly.

Sandy McNicol

Moore Certified Instructor

Hi I’m Sandy McNicol and I live and work in Geelong. I became an enthusiastic student of Rod’s early in 2013 when I made one of the best decisions I’ve ever made … to enroll in one of his Geelong classes. From that moment on my creative self re-emerged and my passion for painting was rekindled. Rod’s support in helping me to rediscover this side of myself has been wonderful and because of his encouragement I am now one of his keen disciples. Having now completed my qualifications as a ‘Moore Certified Instructor’, I am really excited about the future. I look forward to meeting some of you in my classes and sharing with you the great ‘Moore Method of Painting’ and helping you to become an avid painter, just like Rod helped me.
