How Does It Work?

It does not matter what your current skill level is with painting … if you have the desire to give it a go and learn then our online art classes are for you.
They are ideal for beginners, absolute beginners and those who have never picked up a brush before.
We even have classes for intermediate and advanced painters as well.
Each of our online classes has a level associated with it:

  • Level 1 – Beginners, Absolute Beginners & Those Who Have Never Painted
  • Level 2 – Intermediate
  • Level 3 – Advanced

So you will want to choose a class that is right for you.
Our online art classes run over a set number of weeks. Each week you will be emailed a new lesson which will include videos, a PDF workbook, and assignments to complete. You simply watch the videos, read through the instructions in the PDF workbook and then complete the assignments.
When you have completed your assignments take a photo of your work and then email it to us … we will then give you feedback and recommendations to keep you improving.
Each weeks lesson is designed to build on the previous lesson. So you will improve by following our step-by-step approach to learning how to paint.

FAQ

Here are the most common questions about our online art classes:

Q/ I have never painted before and I am not sure I have the talent?

A/ Talent is over rated … at Moore Art School we believe everyone can learn how to paint following our unique approach to teaching. If you have the desire to learn how to paint then give it a go … you have nothing to loose and you may find you really enjoy it :)

Q/ What equipment will I need to start?

A/ Because our classes are aimed at beginners you will need a minimum of equipment … some paints, brushes and canvases of course, but not much else. We will advise you when you register for a class on what you will need for that specific class.

Q/ How much time each week will I need to commit?

A/ You will probably need 2 – 3 hours each week to complete the weekly lesson for your class. Don’t worry though if you have a busy week coming up … you can download all of the lessons to your computer and complete them in your own time and take as long as you like to finish them.

Q/ How are the classes delivered?

A/ The classes are delivered online … each week you will receive an email with the next lesson for the week. The lesson plan will have log in details into our members only website where you will watch the videos, and access the workbook with instructions and assignments. You can download all course material to your computer.

Q/ Are you holding any more physical classes or workshops?

A/ Yes we will be in the future however the cost of running physical workshops means that the prices will be a lot higher than our online art classes. In the future we will probably be running 2 – 3 day workshops so please look out for updates from us on this.

Q/ Why are the classes limited with the number of students?

A/ We limit the number of students in each class because we want to make sure that we have enough time each week to provide the students in the class with the level of assistance, feedback and recommendations as we can. So when you send us photos of your assignments we will give you detailed feedback which takes time. So as a result we can only take a limited number of students per class … once a class is booked out we can not take anymore students for that class.

Q/ How do I join an online art class?

A/ Simple … find a class you like the sound of from the list above. Click on the link to get more information and then register yourself into the class. You will need to make payment via PayPal. Once you have made your payment for the class you will receive an email confirmation welcoming you to the class.
