Richard Chamerski DVD

“From Plein Air To Studio”

Richard Chamerski

In this DVD Richard Chamerski, a professional Australian landscape artist for more than 30 years, shows us his working process from plein air to studio.

Painting the Camels Hump in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, Richard starts out showing us how he creates a plein air sketch of the scene. Then back in the studio using the sketch and photos as reference, he develops a larger version of the painting.

Richard derives his style from the original Australian Impressionist artists of the Heidelberg School such as Arthur Streeton, Charlse Condor, Tom Roberts and more recent artists such as Kasey Sealy and Allan Fizzell.

Through out the DVD Richard explains every step in detail. This DVD is ideal for beginner to intermediate level and especially for those with a keen interest in painting Australian landscapes in the traditional landscape method.
